−  FAQs  −

Can I have a party at Rosie's? - Yes, but… we do not take reservations or reserve private areas during public hours. Seating is first come, first serve, and we ask parties to be limited to 10 guests, 1 table per group. There are tables, chairs, and benches throughout the garden. We kindly ask you not to move furniture around. Please be mindful of others and their time in the garden. We ask that you please keep decorations to a minimum. The following items are prohibited: hanging decor from trees and lighting, artificial petals, confetti, rice, or anything harmful to nature, crafts including painting, glitter, or glue, music, furniture, and candlelight. Outside food is welcome, but no outside alcohol is permitted. Keep in mind that during wedding season, we are closed most Saturdays so please refer to Instagram or our website for special hours: Calendar. If you're interested in booking a wedding and reserving the garden, please contact our Event Coordinator.

Can I have a micro wedding at Rosie’s? - We allow small elopements and micro weddings of 10 people or less to take place in the garden during public hours. There is no dedicated space for this, and no area can be reserved. Our ceremony space is sacred, and the grass is roped off to preserve the area for our wedding clients that have paid to use the garden. Please do not remove any chains or move any furniture to the ceremony area. We ask the group be mindful of others in the garden, especially in the event of a wedding rehearsal. The following items are prohibited: ceremony arches, furniture, confetti, rose petals of any kind, and music.

Are you pet-friendly? - Yes, we love friendly pets! Just keep them on a leash and clean up after them.

Do you serve food? - We have a small but great selection of local snacks and pastries, but you're more than welcome to pack a picnic or have food delivered. We also have food trucks often, so check out our Instagram for updates!

What is the history behind the garden? - The McGill Rose Garden has been around for many, many years. Please read more about it here.

When do the roses bloom? - The roses typically bloom in May and again in October, but the garden is full of life from early spring through the fall!

Where do we park? - We have two small lots on either side of the building and free parking in the parking deck on Alexander St. We strongly encourage carpooling and Uber/Lyft. Make sure to secure your car and belongings as Rosie's is not responsible for theft and/or damage.

Are gift cards available? - Yes! We have physical gift cards available to purchase in the shop or you can purchase online here.
